You’ve Changed

Great poem. Enjoy!

Poetry On A Roll

When I look at you, I see someone else.
I barely recognize your face.
The person I remember you to be
is not the same person I see staring back at me.
We used to be close, the best of friends,
laughing and smiling everyday,
hanging out, having fun
and now your laughs are forced.
It’s like you’ve forgotten ‘the good ole days’.
You’ve changed. You are not your “old self”.
I want the old you back this minute.
Return my best friend to me.
You are a stranger.
