Happy New Year! 2013 is behind us and 2014 has just begun. A popular quote has been trending among social media since New Years Eve:
“Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.” – Brad Paisley
Of course, I particularly like this quote because it mentions writing. Now, I know that Mr. Paisley is referring to taking control of your life and living it to the fullest. I get that. I fully agree with that. But then I got to thinking…what if someone took that saying literally? What if someone (maybe you) decided that this will be the year that they stop thinking about writing a book and actually commit to doing it? A page a day is all it would take. What if 365 days from now, you were holding in your hands the first draft of your amazing novel or self-help book or memoir?
All I can say is that there is no time like the present. What are you waiting for? Hop to it!
